Steven Mayers, PhD

Frustrated by the high cost of research proteins hindering his own scientific research, Steve founded Zeus Biologics to innovate biologics manufacturing and make research proteins more affordable. Steve holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto, and also a PhD in Medical Science from the University of Manchester. He brings industrial bioprocess engineering experience having worked in biopharmaceutical development at the global pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca for four years. He loves engineering, good-quality science, and is a firm believer in quality by design.
